Rosemary essential oil has the fragrance similar to woody evergreen and belongs to the mint family. It is the significant ingredient in many of the products related to skin and hair because of its antiseptic properties.

Description

Rosemary essential oil is extracted through the steam distillation process from the flowers of Rosmarinusofficinalis. From the research that has been conducted recently, it has been noticed that this oil will boost the nerve growth factor and will support the neurological tissue healing and the brain functioning. It is known widely for its culinary and the herbal benefits and is being used extensively for the prosperity of health and the wellness purposes.

Uses

  • Topically it can be used as the anti-wrinkle oil by blending equal portions of rosemary oil, sandalwood, geranium, lavender, and lemon oil.
  • Mix a half cup of water or coconut milk with a half cup of Castile soap and stir. To that 16 drops of rosemary oil and 2 drops of peppermint oil should be added, it can be used as the shampoo.
  • Add 12 drops of rosemary oil and 12 drops of lavender oil and mix it with almond oil. It can be used as the eye serum when there is redness or puffy eyes.
